Dunboyne Dental Care been providing high quality, patient-centred dentistry to the people of Dunboyne and the surrounding areas, since 1996. We are a family-run dental practice offering a wide range of services, from general dentistry to orthodontics and facial aesthetics with modern techniques, and catering for the whole family.
Owned and run by husband and wife team, Dr. Greg McGovern and Dr. Claire Burns, you are sure to receive a warm welcome and gentle approach.

Dr. Greg McGovern
Dr. Greg McGovern, originally from Cavan, graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2008. Following an additional year of vocational training, he spent eight years practicing dentistry in Scotland before returning to Ireland and joining Dunboyne Dental Care in 2017.
Dr. McGovern offers a full range of dental services, from routine check-ups to more complex treatments, with a focus on precision and personalized care. In addition, he provides facial aesthetic treatment with anti-wrinkle injections. His compassionate approach helps put patients at ease, especially those who may feel anxious about dental visits.
Dr. Claire Burns
Claire graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2008 with a Bachelor of Dental Science, where she also received an Entrance Exhibition. Upon graduation, she moved to Edinburgh where she became a member of Faculty of Dental Science of Royal College of Surgeons.
Since returning to Ireland in 2017, Claire has been working in private practice in Co. Meath. Claire is dedicated to post graduate education and continuing professional development. She has completed a certificate in Restorative Dentistry from Tipton Training. Claire has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and provides Invisalign, as well as composite bonding and porcelain veneers. Claire is known for her warm and friendly approach.
